For stage one, I decided to focus on motion within street photography and so I shot images that had intentional blur within them, I did this by either flicking as I click the shutter on my camera to create streaks or by panning my camera to match the speed of my subject.

The setting of camera was crucial into getting the blur effect as I had utilised a slow shutter speed ranging from 1/10 to 1/25 of a second.

The reason I began with this for my "divided or joined" ​starting point was that I thought about joining the the images like a sequence in post-production to emphasise the movement within each image which may reflect the hustle and bustle of the city centre.
